Borrowed Heaven tour

The Borrowed Heaven Tour is the fourth concert tour by Irish band, The Corrs, Beginning summer 2004, the tour promoted the band's fourth studio album, ''Borrowed Heaven''. With nearly 70 shows, the tour visited Europe and North America. It marks the first headlining tour for the band in North America. It also serves as the last headlining tour before the band went into hiatus.
Two new members joined the group during the tour - Jason Duffy on drums and Kieran Kiely on keyboards. Jason Duffy joined the band after Caroline Corr announced she was pregnant and was unable to cross the Atlantic Ocean for the North American leg. Caroline was moved to percussion which would be easier for her as the months progressed.
The 26 November 2004 show at the SEG Geneva Arena in Geneva, Switzerland was filmed and released on 13 December 2005. It was titled, "All the Way Home: A History of the Corrs (plus Live in Geneva)". The film contains a documentary on the history of the band along with the full concert from Geneva.
==Development==

One of the most spectacular stage set-ups of 2004 belongs to The Corrs, which features a creative configuration of Barco's newest star product: MiPIX. Launched in September '03 MiPIX has won several international awards and appeared on stage with stars the likes of Kylie Minogue and Britney Spears. The use of MiPIX on The Corrs' latest tour confirms the enthusiasm of lighting designers about the creative and flexibility of the product.
"We are very pleased to see that the Barco LED displays will again be centre stage with so many of the world's foremost artists this summer. Barco's MiPIX LED system also continues its rise in popularity as a creative, flexible backdrop solution, which can be adapted to suit almost any need in terms of backdrop size, shape and resolution () Barco has been developing tailor-made solutions for the event engineering industry for many years and we will continue to focus our R&D efforts to design and develop products and solutions which drive the technological evolution of this industry".

October and November found The Corrs wheeling through 18 arena dates in seven European countries with a substantial Meyer Sound system provided by England's Canegreen Ltd. The lively Irish band carried a well-rounded selection of self-powered loudspeakers, including MILO high-power curvilinear array, M3D line array, M2D compact curvilinear array, MSL-4 horn-loaded long-throw and UPA-1P compact wide coverage loudspeakers, as well as 700-HP ultrahigh-power subwoofers. Onstage, the players were monitoring through MSL-4s and DS-2P horn-loaded mid-bass loudspeakers, and legacy USM-1 extended range narrow coverage stage monitors. Further support was provided with legacy MSL-2 high-power loudspeakers.
As Canegreen's managing director, Yan Stile, explains, the variety of models of Meyer Sound speakers allowed the band to handle any venue.
"We believe that, if you're an artist, you need to have every color in your palette. The Corrs could do anything. In smaller arenas, they could use a couple of hangs of MILO and, if there were bleachers, they could use the M2Ds. If there weren't bleachers, M2Ds could underhang below the MILOs. If they needed to throw a farther distance, they could use the M3Ds. MSL-4s and M2Ds were used for infill, for those little areas that you find in European venues. In Europe, the venues are strangely shaped. You go to the Festhalle in Stuttgart and it's the most ridiculous shape! That's why we supplied every color in the palette. The main thing is, the Corrs could go into any venue and they do whatever they wanted to do. It's so evenly dispersed between the different box types that it still sounded fantastic and smooth as you walk between them. It sounded lovely all the way".
